The scarifying of the lawn is an important requirement for the obtaining of beautiful thick green grass. Only a powerful lawn scarifier effectively frees the thatch from moss, cuttings and bead vegetation. Nutrients, air and water are otherwise unable to penetrate deep down to the roots of the grass.
